You can begin again with Jesus

Maybe something you read or heard today has stirred your heart.

Maybe you have been searching for God.
Maybe life has brought you to a place where you know you need Him.
Or maybe, for the first time, you simply sense Jesus calling you to come to Him.

You can come to Him just as you are.

You do not need to fix your life first.
You do not need to become good enough.
You do not need to have everything figured out.

Jesus said:

Why do I need Jesus?

The Bible tells us that God created us for relationship with Him, but sin has separated us from Him.

None of us can repair that separation by being good enough, religious enough, or trying harder.

So God did for us what we could never do for ourselves.

He sent His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus lived the life we could not live. He died on the cross for our sins, taking upon Himself the judgment we deserved. And on the third day, He rose from the dead.

Because of Jesus, forgiveness is available.

Because of Jesus, you can be reconciled to God.

Because of Jesus, your past does not have to determine your future.

Jesus is inviting you to come

Salvation is not something you earn.

It is God's gift.

The Bible says:

And:

To come to Christ means turning from a life lived apart from God and placing your trust in Jesus Christ — in who He is and in what He has done for you through His death and resurrection.

If that is the desire of your heart today, you can respond to Him right now.

There are no magic words you have to say. God sees your heart.

The prayer below does not save you. Jesus saves. The prayer simply gives you words to express repentance, faith and trust in Him.

A prayer to receive Christ

Heavenly Father,

I come to You just as I am.

I know that I have sinned and that I cannot save myself. I believe that You love me and that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins.

I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again.

Today, I turn to You. I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me, make me new, and lead my life from this day forward.

Jesus, I belong to You.

Thank You for receiving me. Thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for giving me new life.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
